Half of the MH-60Gs returned to USA on 29/01/91, they were replaced in theather by older and not so good equipped MH-3Es, but which handled much better over the waters of Persian Gulf. (the main advantage was they could land on water)

NOTE FOR MODELLERS:

MH-60Gs were equipped with:

- weather radar on the left side of the nose
- foldable refuelling probe on the right side
- ESSS covers
- HIRSS installed on engine exhausts
- optional M-134s with spent cartridges chute in the front cabin windows
- optional M2 with spent cartridges chute in the main cabin doors - both sides ?
- sometimes they carried extra cabin fuel tanks
- foldable squared off tail stabiliser (like naval SH-60s)
- some (all ?) equipped with SATCOM T-shaped antenna
- "BULLDOG" mod - two extra M130 chaff/flare launchers mounted on main gear pylons shooting downwards
- IR jammer AN/ALQ-144
- external hoist
