NOTE: Those 24 planes were transferred from US stocks to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield between 11/09/1990 to 05/10/1990 to boost the Saudi Air Force.
They were transferred from Bitburg AB, Germany (BT) and Soesterberg AB, Netherlands (CR) bases.
ECM system AN/ALQ-128
Airframes issued directly to Saudi Arabia had both "thin" harmonic balancers on top of both right and left vertical stabilisers.
Transferred ex-USAF planes had AN/ALQ-128 ECM "thick" antenna cover (the system itself was removed prior delivery) on the top of the left vertical stabiliser and "thin" harmonic balancer on top of the right vertical stabiliser.
ECM system AN/ALQ-135
Airframes issued directly to Saudi Arabia had both "stingers" sharp, without any antennas.
Transferred ex-USAF airframes had both "stingers" sharp, without any antennas.
During Gulf war, USA delivered some AN/ALQ-135B systems and they were installed on most of the airframes. The antenna is in same position as in USAF MSIP II, so it replaces the tip of the right "stinger".
During Gulf war, a handful of CFT Type-1s were transferred to Saudi Arabia from USAF stocks. They were manufactured in Israel (as are all CFTs).
They were the older "fighter" CFTs, capable to carry A2A missiles only on stations 3C, 4C, 6C and 7C with LAU-106 adapters.
(you can see them on some USAF planes from the past or more recently on Israeli F-15A/B/C/D jets.)
All F-15C/Ds manufactured for Saudi Arabia were CFT Type-1 capable
Below is an F-15C configured with CFT, but as the plane has "thick" AN/ALQ-128 antenna cover on top of the left vertical stabiliser, it is a plane transferred from USAF stocks just before Gulf war (CR or BT).
